Our Story
We know how frustrating it is to chase a vocal sound you hear in your favorite songs — but can’t seem to recreate in your own mixes. You tweak EQs, adjust compressors, stack reverbs, move plugins around… yet the vocal still doesn’t feel right.
Not clean enough. Not wide enough. Not finished. Like many mixing engineers and artists, we spent years working across different genres, artists, and vocal styles — constantly rebuilding vocal chains from scratch.
Over time, we began documenting everything that actually worked. The complex signal chains. The subtle EQ moves.
The compression techniques and effect combinations we used on both emerging artists and major-label projects.
But there was a problem. Those chains relied on expensive plugins, analog gear, and years of hands-on experience to set up correctly. Recreating that sound wasn’t just costly — it required deep technical knowledge and endless trial and error.
That’s why we started CHAINS.
